The Journey of
Studying Abroad

The journey of studying abroad is truly one of a kind. We encourage students not only to gain knowledge from this experience but also to make the most of every opportunity it offers. Now is the time to prepare yourself to take the plunge. Let us begin!

Before Moving

Global Opportunities suggests taking the time to make an informed decision, as it is extremely important. We recommend starting the process at least 2–3 years in advance so students have enough time to plan properly. Students should spend sufficient time researching the course and university they wish to enroll in, as this is the most important step before moving ahead.

The next stage is the application process, which can be extensive. Therefore, students should begin preparing their applications 8–9 months before the admission window opens. This gives them enough time to review, reassess, and improve their applications to put their best foot forward. This is also the ideal time to prepare for and take the required eligibility exams.

Universities usually respond with their final decision within 3–4 months, depending on the institution. Once accepted, the visa process begins and generally takes around 2–3 months. Following this timeline helps ensure a smooth and hassle-free application process.

After the Move

This marks the beginning of a student’s dream, and we recommend following the right guidance to enjoy a smooth and fulfilling experience abroad. Taking up a part-time job can be a good option to support daily expenses. However, students should ensure that work does not negatively affect their studies.

After completing your degree, you become better equipped to meet current industry requirements. You gain valuable skills that enhance your professional profile and open doors to better career opportunities. International exposure significantly boosts your career prospects.
