Master's in Switzerland
Master's in Switzerland
Entry Requirements
Academic Requirements
- A recognized Bachelor’s degree (minimum 180 ECTS credits or an equivalent qualification).
- Most universities expect a minimum of 60% or equivalent in the undergraduate degree (requirements vary by university and program).
- The Bachelor’s degree should be in the same or a closely related field as the intended Master’s program.
Special Considerations for Indian Students
- Many Swiss universities accept three-year Bachelor’s degrees from UGC-recognized and NAAC-accredited institutions, subject to university evaluation.
- Some universities may require applicants to complete additional coursework (up to 60 ECTS credits) if prerequisite subjects are missing.
- Relevant professional work experience may strengthen an application for certain programs but does not generally replace academic entry requirements.
