Queen’s University Belfast provides wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It is divided into twenty academic schools. These schools are operated by head of schools .These schools are supported by school managers. Main schools of Queen’s University of Belfast are following:

1. School of Biological Sciences: Main focus of this school is on animal, human & environmental health. It provides wide range of undergraduate & postgraduate courses in the field of biochemistry, biological sciences, molecular biology, animal behavior and welfare, molecular ecology etc .This school comprises of two main research groups: Quercus & Institute of Agri-Food and Land Use and Biomolecular Processes.
   
   
2. School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering: It is a combined school of engineering and chemistry. Research work of this school is ranked among top 20 in U.K. It provides wide range of courses in the field of chemistry, chemical engineering, MSc/Diploma in chemical enzymology, MSc/Diploma in process engineering etc
   
   
3. School of Education: This school is a major leader of education in U.K and Ireland. It offers wide range of courses in the field of initial teacher education to adult education, bachelor of arts, culture & society, diploma in vocational guidance, masters in human resource, masters in organization and management, masters in work based learning, management of life long learning etc
   
   
4. School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science: This school is one of the largest schools in university. This school is known for its International reputation .International Students from 20 different countries are studying .It offers wide range of courses in the field of business information technology, creative multimedia, web technology, computer science, MSc telecommunications, MSc educational multimedia, MSc electronics etc
   
   
5. School of English: This school gives warm welcome to International Students. This school provides wide range of courses in the field of B.A single honours English, B.A major honours English, B.A joint honours English, B.A minor honours English etc
   
   
6. School of Geography, Archaeology and Palaeoecology: This school supports internationally recognized research and education programmes. It offers wide range of courses in the field of archaeology, palaeoecology, geography, research in environmental change, past cultural change, society space & culture etc.
   
   
7. School of History and Anthropology: Research and teaching of this school is of International reputation. This school is known for its Anthropological studies. It also offers wide range of courses in ethnomusicology and history of science.
   
   
8. School of Languages, Literature and Performing Arts: This school aims to maintain dynamic world class educational environment. It provides wide range of courses in the field of drama studies, film studies, French studies, German studies, Spanish & Portuguese studies etc.
   
   
9. School of Law: This school is ranked 7th in U.K .95 % of research of this school is of International quality. 11. School of Mathematics & Physics: This is the largest school within the faculty of Engineering & Physical Sciences. It offers wide range of undergraduate & postgraduate courses in the field of applied mathematics, pure mathematics, physics & astronomy, MSc in plasma science, MSc in plasma science & vacuum technology etc
    
    
12. School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering: This school is rated as one of the top 10 Mechanical Engineering schools in U.K. It provides wide range of courses in the field of aerospace engineering, mechanical & manufacturing engineering, product design & development, polymer engineering etc
    
    
13. School of medicine, Dentistry & Biomedical Sciences: This is the largest school in the university. It provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses through three education centers. Three education centers of this school are following:
    
    
    • Centre for Medical Education: It offers undergraduate and postgraduate medical programmes at masters and diploma level.
      
      
    • Centre for Dental Education: It offers undergraduate dental programmes such as BDS

It provides wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of social work, sociology, gender studies, social policy and criminology, doctorate in clinical psychology, doctorate in educational, child and adolescent psychology etc
