Courses

There are three main schools within the University. They are following:

1. School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Law: This school provides wide range of courses in the field of Business and Management, Economics, English Drama, Film Studies, Comparative Literature, Geography, History, Law etc
   
   
2. School of Medicine and Dentistry : This school provide courses in the field of Cancer, cell and Molecular Science, Dentistry, Health Sciences, Preventive Medicine etc
   
   
3. School of science and Engineering: This school provides courses in the field of Biological and Chemical sciences, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Material sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physics, Psychology etc
   
   
   

International Programmes

Queen Mary, University of London provides following courses for International Students:

1. International Foundation Programme in Social Sciences, Law, Arts and Humanities: If International Students have completed High School and then they can do degree at Queen Mary, University of London in subjects such as law, business, economics, politics, geography .International Students can also study International Relations, Media or Marketing. This programme is for one year and student has to take three subjects along with English language and study skills.
   
   
2. International Science and Engineering Foundation Programme(ISEFP): International Students can do degree in Engineering, Biological Sciences, Biomedical sciences(leading to medical and health professions),material science, physics, chemistry, business management with science subjects such as business management with statistics and finance. To study these courses International students must have studied mathematics and science at final year high school certificate, International baccalaureate (IB), five IGCSE subjects with minimum B grades or two International A levels. This is one year programme.
   
3. Pre_masters programme for International Students: If International Students have first degree or Diploma then they can study postgraduate degree at Queen Mary University of London. This flexible programme includes studies in the field of Social Sciences, Sciences and Arts. All pre-masters programmes of Queen Mary University of London includes both academic courses plus they also help International Students in developing English language and other necessary skills for further studies. This programme provides following pathways to International Students:
   • Pre-Masters pathway in Business and Management
     
   • Pre-Masters pathway in Finance and Investment
     
   • Pre-Masters pathway in Arts, Humanities and Cultural Studies.
     
   • Microbiology
     
   • Pre-Masters pathway in Material Science

4. Pre-Sessional Programme: If International Students have a formal offer of an undergraduate or masters degree from Queen Mary University of London then International Students can undertake pre-sessional programme of eight to twelve weeks to improve there English language and other necessary academic skills.
