International Programmes
University of Northumbria provides certain courses for International Students. They are following:
- International Foundation Programme: University of Northumbria provides this course for those International Students who do not meet qualifications and English language skills for there chosen bachelors degree. This course helps International Students to develop English language skills and select the subjects which will meet entry requirement of there degree course. This course is of duration of 2 semesters.
- Academic Skills International (ASK) Course: This course is for those International Students whose first language is not English. This programme offers seminars in English for academic purposes. These seminars are provided during normal teaching weeks. This course also provides online information to International Students through e-learning platform.
- International Pre-Masters Qualifying (IPQ Computer Network Technology): This course help International Students to develop English language and other academic skills required for entry into masters course. International Students are taught 12 hours per week and approximately 4-6 hours of classes in the school of computing, engineering and information sciences. After completing this course International Students can get admission in MSc in Computer Network Technology.
- English and Study Skills Course: This course is for those International Students who meet academic requirements of course they wish to study at University of Northumbria but there English level does not meet the entry requirement. This programme will help International Students in developing there English language.
