About University of Middlesex
University of Middlesex traces its origin back to late 1880’s when two educational institutions opened there doors in north London-St Katherine’s college & Hornsey School of art & craft. Both these colleges became part of Middlesex polytechnic, which was founded in 1973.Middlesex polytechnic was founded in 1973, when Enfield college of technology, Hendon college of Technology & Hornsey College of Art were joined together .College of All Saints & Trent Park College were joined in 1978.Middlesex was awarded the title of University in 1992.In 2005 Middlesex University opened an overseas campus in Dubai.

Sports and Activities
University of Middlesex offers exiting range of sports activities and programmes to its students. University of Middlesex provides outdoor swimming pool, playing fields, fitness rooms, sports halls & gymnasiums for its students. University of Middlesex also provides competitive sports to its students. University team competes on Wednesday afternoon in the British University & College Supports (BUCS).Many students compete for the first time at University of Middlesex. Sports development team of University of Middlesex runs variety of coach educational courses. University of Middlesex also runs sports coach workshops in U.K along with collaboration of local communities. Student Union of University of Middlesex is run by students. Student Union of University of Middlesex is a source of student support, welfare, rights & extra curricular activities. It is the place where one can make life long friends. Student union allows its student’s access to clubs and societies. It also provides discounts on major stores to students.

University of Middlesex is located in north London. It is at a distance of less then hour from London. University of Middlesex is connected with excellent rail and road links. Middlesex has temperate climate. There are no extreme weather conditions. Summers are warm and pleasant with maximum temperature rising to 30 degree Celsius. During winters temperature rarely reaches lower then – 4 degree Celsius.
