Sports & other Activities

University of Newcastle is one of the largest universities for sports in U.K .All INTO students receive free recreational membership of University Sports Centre and all indoor and outdoor facilities owned by University. Newcastle University has sports centre. Sports centre of Newcastle University has sports hall. Sports hall is divided into six badminton courts, basketball, netball, volleyball courts, four squash courts etc. Outdoor facilities of Newcastle University are excellent. Newcastle University is equipped with all type of sports such as rugby, cricket, tennis, football, hockey, lacrosse and rowing etc. Student Union is at the heart of campus. It is the place where one can take break and meet new people. Student Union is run by annually elected officers. It runs local and national campaigns such as health awareness. It provides access to various clubs and societies where one can make new friends.

Location and Weather

INTO-Newcastle is situated within the south east corner of University Campus. It is opposite Haymarket metro station. INTO-Centre is conveniently located in the University Campus. Newcastle has temperate climate with hot summers and mild winters with rain.
