- Mathematics Bursaries : This scholarship is provided to those International Students who want to do math’s degree. International Students who have obtained equivalent of AAA on 3A levels including A at math’s level .This scholarship is of value of 1,000 pounds per annum for 2 years for single honours students.500 pounds per annum is for 2 years for joint honour students. Minor scholarships are awarded to students who obtain ABB or AAC on 3A level including A in math’s. Scholarship for such students is of 500 pounds per annum for 2years for single honours students & 250 pounds per annum is for 2 years for joint honours students.
- Department of Economics Scholarship for MSc Programmes: This scholarship is awarded to those International Students who will be doing MSc Programme . This scholarship is awarded on the basis of merit. Value of this scholarship is not specified. It all depends on university.
- Department of Economics Scholarship for Research Programmes: This is small scholarship awarded for research programmes. Value of this scholarship is of value of 3,000-7,000 pounds. This scholarship is awarded for three years.
- Department of Government Scholarships: This scholarship is awarded to International Students at MA & PhD level. Value of this scholarship is of value of 2,000 pounds. It is provided as discount in tuition fees.
- Department of History Postgraduate Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to those International Students who want to study part time or full time master’s degree and who expect to receive first or upper second B.A & wish to consider PhD study in future. Value of this scholarship is of value of 5,000 pounds.
- Department of History PhD Scholarship : All International Students who want to do full time or part time PhD are eligible for a scholarship of value of 8,000 pounds. This scholarship is for three years.
- Department of Law Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to talented research students. This scholarship is awarded annually by department. Its value is not specified.
- Department of Philosophy Scholarship: This scholarship is available for International Students at M.A and PhD level. This scholarship is of value of 6,000 pounds.
- Department of Psychology Scholarship: This scholarship is provided by University of Essex to support PhD students. This scholarship is of value of tuition fees plus a stipend of 12,500 pounds per annum.
